Karupatti Thatha (“we”, “our”, “us”) ensures transparency and fairness in shipping, delivery, refunds, and returns for all orders placed through our website or official sales channels.

SHIPPING POLICY

1. Order Processing
  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
  • Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
2. Shipping Coverage
  • We currently ship across India.
  • International shipping is not available unless explicitly stated.
3. Delivery Timeline
  • Estimated delivery time is 3–7 business days, depending on location and courier availability.
  • Delivery timelines are indicative and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, courier delays, strikes, or regional restrictions.
4. Shipping Charges
  • Shipping charges (if applicable) will be clearly displayed at checkout.
  • Any additional charges such as COD fees will be communicated before order confirmation.
5. Address Accuracy
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
  • Karupatti Thatha is not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
6. Damaged or Missing Shipments
  • If your order arrives damaged or with missing items, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery along with unboxing photos/videos for verification.

REFUND & RETURN POLICY

7. Nature of Product

Karupatti Thatha sells food-grade, perishable products (Palm Jaggery). Due to hygiene and safety reasons, returns are not accepted once the product is delivered, except in cases of:

  • Damaged product
  • Incorrect product delivered
  • Manufacturing defects
8. Eligibility for Refund or Replacement

You may be eligible for a refund or replacement only if:

  • The product is damaged during transit
  • You receive an incorrect item
  • The product is expired or unfit for consumption upon delivery

Proof Required:
Clear unboxing video/photos must be shared within 24 hours of delivery.

9. Refund Process
  • Once the issue is verified, a refund or replacement will be initiated at our discretion.
  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days after approval.
  • Refund amount will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase.
10. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Change of mind
  • Taste preference
  • Incorrect address provided by customer
  • Delivery delays caused by courier partners
  • Failure to provide proof within the stipulated time
11. Cancellation Policy
  • Orders can be cancelled only before shipment.
  • Once the order is shipped, cancellation is not allowed.
  • To cancel an order, contact us immediately after placing the order.
12. Force Majeure

Karupatti Thatha shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, strikes, pandemics, or courier service disruptions.
